Denon Announces Affordable AirPlay AV Receiver

Denon AVR-1912AT just $550 list pirce the Denon AVR-1912 is a solid competitor to the Pioneer VSX-1021-K for an AirPlay compatible option for your home theater receiver. Besides AirPlay it includes streaming services from Rhapsody, Napster, Pandora, and DLNA support. We’ll get the other specs up as soon as we can.  Specs up after the break. Remember, these receivers only transmit audio. To send video for now you’ll need an Apple TV until Apple decides to license AirPlay to TV manufactures.

Affordalbe AirPlay Receiver from Pioneer.

Up to now the cheapest AV receiver with AirPlay on the market came from Denon and a not so cheap $999 in the form of the Denon AVR-991.
